The carbon footprint of one’s campaign can be minimised by various commonsense means such as utilising web channels for meetings and where avoidable combining journeys with colleagues or using public transport. Equally where environmental impact is expected and even taken for granted, a rethink can challenge previously accepted assumptions. This is certainly the case for the traditional, non-digitised direct marketers, the mailers, who can now elect for a variety of more ecologically responsible materials such as recycled paper stock, low impact biodegradable vegetable inks or biodegradable polythene parcel wraps.
Notwithstanding the materials used, the channels deployed or the scale of the campaign, as a company we personally pledge to offset the carbon footprint created by any work we undertake, be it in aspect or entirety and at no expense to the client. Our zero carbon certification scheme which has already planted nearly 10,000 trees, testifies to the carbon neutral nature of our DM solutions and ultimately our client’s marketing and the fervency with which we are charged.
